We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Serviceability Engineer to join our Aftersales team based in Woking, Surrey.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Review design concepts for Serviceability during design reviews, project meetings and DFMEA’s. Report all issues to the Service Engineering team
  • Review and sign off Engineering changes where appropriate, correlate Engineering changes and disseminate information to the Service Engineering team
  • Benchmarking of competitor vehicles for Serviceability
  • Support of Gateway process via the correlation and supply of relevant data
  • Set up and maintain maintenance schedules for future and existing models
  • Review potential requirements for special tooling and communicate to the Service Engineering team
  • Perform regular reviews with Engineering function groups to ensure Service Targets are met

Knowledge, skills and experience: 

  • Experience in a high-quality road car environment and fully conversant with all aspects of vehicle repairs and servicing including body repair.
  • Understanding of dealership documentation and maintenance systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project etc.)
  • Conversant with CAD (Catia V5) an advantage
  • A suitable formal education via City & Guilds or equivalent, and an apprenticeship (extensive and suitable experience may be considered in lieu) is highly desirable.
