The Uplift Parts Coordinator is responsible for leading the procurement and logistics for delivering all Uplift/De-fleet/PVP build requirement. Reporting to the ‘Uplift Group Leader’

This unique role will require the candidate to coordinate a highly skilled team material control and warehouse to ensure all activities can be completed on schedule.

Principal Accountabilities: 

Coordinate and consolidate all Uplift/De-fleet/PVP build parts requirements
Close liaison with other disciplines within the logistics organisation, as well as other departments especially Planning, Material Control, Warehouse, Quality and Expediter teams.
Continuously being aware of and pro-actively addressing shortages.
Support STK and NONSTK demand through to destination, include requisition and kit creation
Effective communication and feedback of all needs
Review and improve the operating environment through establishing and maintaining housekeeping standards.

Main responsibilities will include; 

Ensure all new demand Uplift/De-fleet/PVP activities are followed through to fulfilment
Directly connect with Material Planner & Controllers to agree part release timing
Set warehouse priorities for the warehouse operators, ensure all parts are picked and booked out to process
Report any shortages via E-mail to the development Material Controllers and uplift team leaders and update the relevant shortage spreadsheet.
Ensure any HOT PARTS are processed as quickly as possible.
Coordinate the transport of the parts to development activities abroad (when needed).

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Strong team working skills
Detailed working and understanding of a sequenced materials production environment.
Previous experience within the manufacturing industry, especially automotive serial production.
IT literate and have good organization skills.
Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
