Test Technician

Purpose of the Role:

  • To follow predefined test processes to enable the successful delivery of customer orders, to the highest quality standard


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Electronics assembly test suppor
  • Fully contribute to the process of continuous improvements and company goal of achieving zero defects in accordance with ISO9001 certified quality management systems requirements.
  • Use standard bench top test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters etc to execute tests. Fault finding of electronic systems, electronic circuits and assemblies to component level

 

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Good GCSE grades or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • ONC, HNC or equivalent in an electronic discipline desirable although not essential.
  • General understanding of industry standards and regulations in order to ensure guidelines are followed and machinery and equipment are operated safety.
  • Has developed proficiency in a range of processes or procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job expertise
  • Strong PC skills.
  • Good time management.
  • Good attention to detail to allow you to maintain or exceed high levels of production/test standards and efficiency.
  • Ability to fully contribute to the process of continuous improvements.
  • Good understanding of working in similar high technology environment
  • Experience in customer facing roles, demonstrating an ability to represent the company during high-paced development.
