Support Team Operative

Location: Woking, GB

The skills, experience and enthusiasm of the people within the McLaren Group is the engine that drives our development. Since moving into the McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) and launching the McLaren Production Centre, the Group has undergone a period of considerable expansion. We are now looking for a Support Team Operative to join our Managed Services team based at the McLaren Technology Centre.

Purpose of the Role:

To provide manual support to the McLaren Group companies to a meticulous standard and to work with other McLaren Managed Services Technicians to continually improve the services supplied.
 
Principal Accountabilities:

  • High profile event support and historic vehicle movements.
  • Provide support to our multi-disciplined Technicians.
  • Implement McLaren Group`s waste and recycling processes.
  • Provide access platforms to Technicians and contractors.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A forklift license would be desirable.
  • Experience in operating a scissor lift (MEWP).
  • Full driving licence required.
  • PCV licence - an advantage.

  • Excellent team member who can confidently work on their own and in a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail to complete tasks to the high standards expected.
  • Self motivated and proactive to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Travel to other McLaren Facilities will be required.
  • Required to work out of hours (late nights / weekends).
  • Flexible approach to working hours (early mornings / late nights).
