To ensure MSO continues to be at the forefront of the Automotive market, we are looking for a Senior Sales Operations Manager to join our MSO Sales and Marketing team.

 

Purpose of the role:

As Senior Sales Operations Manager, you will act as the primary interface between MSO Sales & Marketing and McLaren Automotive’s central Commercial Operations team. Encompassing sales planning, reporting and commercial management, you will proactively lead ongoing demand generation and new product launches for MSO, ensuring we are fully integrated into mainstream processes. 

 

Principal accountabilities:

  • Manage all aspects of sales planning, demand generation and forecasting, ensuring MSO is on track to deliver its objectives
  • Manage, coach and develop your team into a high performing team known for its successful delivery
  • Work with the central Commercial Operations team to develop cross functionally aligned sales processes for new product launches
  • Support the MSO Product Manager in the development of feature pricing strategies, delivering final pricing and ongoing pricing maintenance
  • Commercial management of all MSO revenue streams, proactively developing retailer and customer incentive programmes
  • Manage product feature offtakes, constraints management and ageing stock clearance
  • Review team performance on a regular basis and promote a culture whereby processes are optimised
  • Develop & manage the MSO sales reporting process, developing and delivering a suite of management reports up to Exec level
  • Manage the delivery of design visualisation services across MSO
  • Lead and co-ordinate the MSO Sales & Marketing business planning process
  • Financial management of the MSO Sales Operations budgets plus overall ownership of the wider Sales & Marketing budget

 

Knowledge, skills & experience:

  • Experienced leader of international sales operations teams within the automotive industry, with a background in commercial operations and / or sales planning and forecasting
  • Strategic thinker who can build robust, long term business plans
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with ability to quickly understand complex data whilst maintaining an understanding of what is required at a macro level
  • Excellent communication skills, able summarise key messages and articulate these succinctly to all levels within the organisation
  • Proven track record in successful continuous improvement
  • Experience of business to business relationship management with a luxury / prestige brand
