Senior Controls Software Engineer - Transmission

Role Dimensions
A rare and exciting opportunity to join our highly successful Transmission controls software development team as a Senior Control Software Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of embedded control algorithms, diagnostics and calibration for transmission, performance related control systems. The role brings unparalleled levels of responsibility, ownership and direct involvement with our world leading products.

  • Transmission software requirements capture and detailed software design
  • Model-based control software development and verification
  • AUTOSAR application software component development
  • Verification testing in MIL, SIL and HIL environments, and in-vehicle integration
  • Good Control theory background
  • Compliance to industry standards such as ISO26262 and ASPICE.

Skills, knowledge, abilities

  • Transmission control systems development
  • Hydraulic systems controls expertise
  • Powertrain and Hybrid expertise
  • Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Hybrid-based software calibration
  • Vehicle-based software calibration 
  • Mechanical or Automotive Engineering Degree.
