SQA - New Model Project Team Administrator

Location: Woking, GB

Purpose of the role:

The Supplier Quality Assurance New Model Project Administrator supports the Supplier Quality Assurance Projects team by:

  • Processing key documentation that is needed during the duration of a project or programme such as PPAP or Concessions.
  • Generating reports that are issued internally within McLaren and externally to our Suppliers.
  • Manage data for the various systems that are used by the Supplier Quality Assurance department.
  • Support various personnel within the Supplier Quality Assurance department.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Management of data within the Supplier Quality Assurance department.
  • Processing of key documentation for PPAP and Concessions.
  • Reporting of data internally of McLaren and externally to our Suppliers.
  • Delivering global communications to McLaren’s Suppliers
  • Supporting Supplier Quality Assurance personnel with various tasks to assist with achieving targets and objectives for projects and programmes.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

  • Proficient skills with core Microsoft Office programs
  • Good skills with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to reference or analyse data without any support.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with people from different departments and levels.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Ideal not essential;
    • Previous experience working within an automotive manufacturing environment (OEM or Tier One Supplier).
    • Understanding f processes such as PPAP and Concessions
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
    • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
    • Event planning
