SQA Engineer - Composites

To continue our consistency of producing critically acclaimed 5-star cars, we need to ensure we have the right people with exceptional technical skills and knowledge.

Working within the SQA team is not for the faint-hearted, you will be required to work at pace and be extremely knowledgeable within manufacturing, supply chain and problem-solving. The successful candidate will be required to travel globally at a moment’s notice, for supplier visits.

The SQA team are responsible for all new models, series warranty and mainline production.

In this position, you will be exposed to a broad range of activities, this role is more than a typical SQA role, you will be expected to have expert manufacturing knowledge, working with suppliers to challenge controls and manufacturing processes. Which will give you the knowledge and insight as to how supplier manufacturing processes differ.

In addition to understanding feasibility of design and manufacture, managing design changes and so there will be elements of project management required. There will also be an opportunity to be involved in hands-on development trials.

To be successful in this role you should have vast knowledge and experience within injection moulding, forming and ideally carbon fibre. Candidates with a proven background in manufacturing are highly desirable.
