Reliability Engineer

Purpose of the Role:

Design office Engineering Development of Methods and Standards. Support for Trackside Reliability during some of the events either from the factory or trackside.

Role Dimensions:

The successful candidate will be part of the Engineering Design Team and will work in close co-operation with the Design Engineers and Trackside Reliability Engineers. The purpose of the role is to develop Methods and Standards with a focus of improving Reliability and maximising productivity.

A broad practical experience, problem resolution and quality mindset are advantageous.

Woking based. Occasional Travel required. Standard working hours with the possibility to work from home, but flexibility to work additional hours when required. 

Principal Accountabilities:

·         Taking ownership of methods and standards for Engineering Design

·         Mapping Engineering processes

·         Developing new engineering methods and standards to improve output and increase productivity

·         Capture, develop and make the most of the lessons learnt

·         Support problem resolution investigations

·         Liaise with all technical groups to maintain the fault system up to date

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

·         Degree in Mechanical/ Aeronautical Engineering or relevant subject

·         PC literate and basic CAD skills (Catia V5 or 3DExp), training will be provided
