Recruitment is a priority, having the right people at the right time is key to any successful business.

At McLaren Automotive, the recruitment team have recently undergone a restructure to enable us to deliver more efficiently to meet the expanding business needs.

Due to recent promotions and growing business demand, there are new roles available within the recruitment team.

That’s where you come in.

As a Recruitment Advisor you will be responsible for full lifecycle recruitment in your respective area, from initial job briefings, sourcing candidates, screening and assessment to onboarding and everything else in between.

In addition to recruitment activities, you will be involved in supporting the wider HR team, with a variety of adhoc projects, supporting training programmes, helping create and deliver training material, supporting management development programme with coaching.

The focus for the team moving forwards, is to ensure robust strategies are implemented and accompanied by processes fit for purpose. We are becoming more data driven in our approach and we are understanding the power of employer brand. In addition to striving to have robust methods of candidate assessment. We have defined the overall recruitment process and have just delivered our first pilot training session to hiring managers – exciting stuff!

You will also have access to a catalogue of training courses, from excel training to mindfulness and depending on your role, there will be recruitment training such as social talent (sourcing) and Thomas International (assessment).
You will have the freedom to attend industry events to help further develop your skillsets and keep up to date with trends in the industry to share amongst the recruitment team.
To be successful in this team, you should be confident to challenge the status quo, willing to put ideas forward to make positive contributions and have an unrelenting desire to improve, not just yourself but also the processes and tools you work with. You will need a flexible approach to working, cliché – I know. But we really mean it. Armed with a laptop, mobile phone and remote access, you will be trusted to work at various McLaren sites around Woking and have the added bonus of working from home.
