Production Planner - FTC 15 months

Location: Woking, GB

As part of our Track25 business plan we will launch 18 new models or derivatives of our vehicles and look to expand our retailer network into new markets with an aim of having 100 retailers globally.  

Track 25 and McLaren Automotive’ s growing reputation is testament to our world class employees. To ensure McLaren Automotive continues to be at the forefront of the Automotive market, we are looking for a Production Planner on a 15 month FTC to join our team based in Woking.

 

Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Production Planner, the role will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of the production plan and its relevant processes. The candidate is required to work cross-functionally and ensure effective communication in order to deliver business imperatives. 

 

 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Manage changes to sales orders
  • Generate and issue production orders
  • Manage BOM updates on SAP
  • Daily production scheduling
  • Analyse order intake data and communicate to relevant stakeholders
  • Support day to day production plan and SAP related enquires
  • Assist Senior Production Planner on forecast updates
  • Work with senior planning team on improvement projects
  • Cover Senior Production Planners/Production Planners when necessary

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Good understanding of planning principles and objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound and logical decisions.
  • Strong excel and data manipulation skills.
  • Excellent verbal & written commination skills with ability to communicate clearly at all levels
  • SAP knowledge/experience desirable, but not essential
  • A natural problem solver
  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment will be an advantage
