As Powertrain Series Manager, you will be the single point of contact for the wider business for all Engineering requirements within Series and Warranty for your systems. Responsible for leading the design and development of Engineering changes within Series products, this covers all vehicles within current production and in the field.

You will work with the Principal Engineers within the Engineering and Concept Teams to ensure all Lessons Learnt from Launch and Production are incorporated into Design Guides and future vehicle projects.

To be successful in this role you should have demonstrable project management experience and at ease with developing plans including project timing for – design releases, DFMEAs, DVPs, RAT and other relevant deliverables.

A background in design, development or testing would be the preferred and experience with Catia V5 (for review only) and six sigma would be essential.

You should know your way around an engine or related system, not in great detail, but be able to input on warranty resolutions, build concerns, engineering changes, cost savings and VAVE activities.

This will be a challenging role and would be a perfect fit for a resilient individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - there will be plenty of interaction with engineering and production and senior management.
