Role Description 

You will be building and leading an agency-based team of analysts and performance marketing talent to drive initiatives, seek funnel efficiencies and ultimately create sales and revenue. 

As such, you will own our website, working closely with content-creators, product marketing, product management, and technical and software engineering resources. Together this team will develop and deliver an exceptional user experience on the website and customer experience via our connected app. 
The ideal candidate has a ‘roll-up-your-sleeves' style and coach/player mentality to thrive in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment. This leader will demonstrate creativity, drive, energy and action. They will be a team player, excelling at collaboration, partnership to influence decision-making throughout the organization. 

Function 

The function of the Performance Marketing / Growth Manager is:  

  1. To lead our digital acquisition efforts in terms of strategy and tactical execution,  
  1. To articulate our online creative-content needs and partner in the effort to produce it, and  
  1. To drive online media investment and execution of campaigns, leveraging different channels 

        in different markets. 

Purpose of the Role

The role’s purpose is to help achieve our sales revenue objective by: 

  1. Capturing leads and putting them into our online sales funnel, 
  1. Driving leads through our online sales funnel in a cost-effective manner, and  
  1. Converting leads into sales revenue. 

Responsibilities 

  1. Lead the digital effort for the front-end:  
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end development of the website strategy and day-to-day operational execution now and future.  
  • Provide direction, leadership, and strategy to develop and maintain best-in-class online experience to maximize conversion opportunities and enhance site visits. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services, audience, and the buyer's journey to overcome pain-points and blockers to conversion. 
  • Adapt the performance of our digital presence to multiple markets and their respective cultures. 
  • Responsible for weekly & monthly site performance reports, sharing key insights and recommendations which support business needs and drive iterations across the website. 
  • Oversee third party resources/vendors for web development and digital projects, ongoing website maintenance for bug fixes and new development tasks. 
  1. Deliver sales revenue: 
  • Manage digital advertising channels (SEA, PPC, SEO), including informing budget, setting priorities, managing execution and performance. 
  • Oversee rigorous creative testing and digital-asset use/optimization to maximize media spend 
  • Analyse market, competitive and media landscape dynamics to scope potential new acquisition channels. 
  • Monitor, track and report analytics to ensure they align with our growth KPIs (user acquisition, activation, retention, cost per metric, ROI etc.) 
  • Design, implement, and track growth initiatives with an initial focus on customer acquisition, then expanding towards increasing customer retention and lifetime value. 
  • Develop on and offsite SEO strategy, execution and monitoring. 
  • Test, learn and adapt – audiences, propositions, landing pages and creative assets. 
  • Contribute analytical rigor, managing CAC within budget constraints. 

Requirements 

  • Experience leading and growing a successful e-commerce D2C business in terms of strategy development and operational execution. 
  • P&L accountability, managing revenue with CPA/CAC and ROI. 
  • Project management skills with attention-to-detail, overseeing budgets, timelines and various assets/deliverables. 
  • Superior track record of leveraging data to make informed, impactful decisions. 
  • Experience commercializing a ‘top-end-of-its-sector' product or service. 
  • Experience growing a subscription-based business is considered a plus. 
  • Experience driving expansion globally. 
  • Empathy for UHNWI and their customer experience expectations in a digital e-commerce environment. 
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up setting, comfortable working with ambiguity, driving opportunity through leadership.
