For the next 6 years as part of McLaren’s Track 22 plan, we are looking to invest £1 billion into Research and Development, leading to the launch of 15 all-new cars or derivatives during this period.

 

Purpose of the role:

You will support with assessing and developing the very best possible Logistics systems and solutions to support parts availability to production, delivered in the most efficient and effective manner to unsure stock integrity and commercial business objectives.

 

Principal accountabilities:

  • Review operational and systems performance on a frequent basis, identifying and proposing clear recommendations for improvements in operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Establish reports and KPIs to support daily operations and management of the respective Logistics functional areas
  • Provide direct support to key system and process issues and constraints – Root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Use the data to present trends and recommendations for improvements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather data for analysis and understanding
  • Support the Inventory management systems and methods to ensure high levels of inventory accuracy.

 

Knowledge, skills & experience:

For this role, a strong background in SAP and business analysis would be preferred. The candidate must have a demonstrable knowledge of data and systems and must have experience with Excel, setting up and managing KPIs and root cause analysis.

  • Strong SAP experience (SAP Super User level advantageous)
  • Highly analytical with strong excel and data interpretation skills.
  • Powerpoint / Visio experience
  • Project Planning Experience
  • Proven ability to make sound and logical decisions.
