Logistics Business Readiness Manager

Track 25 and McLaren Automotive’ s growing reputation is testament to our world class employees. To ensure McLaren Automotive continues to be at the forefront of the Automotive market, we are looking for a Logistics Business Readiness Manager to join our Logistics team.


Purpose of the Role: 
Reporting to the Head of Logistics Systems and Inventory Control, you will drive the business readiness activities that underpin every change we make and everything we do in logistics.
Providing key change management in a dynamic and complex SAP environment with focus across Supply Planning, Material Control, and Logistics Operations that enables growth and change to happen in a controlled and standardised way. You will be responsible for managing the interaction between SAP and system changes, testing, training and roles.


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Understand and manage the interdependencies between system change, testing, training and roles.
  • Manage and provide training for a wide spectrum of users
  • Ability to create and enforce training and testing plans
  • Audit end users on the processes that you train
  • Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Complete change management assessments
  • Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Complete change management assessments

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Preferred candidates will have had good project as well as operational experience and an in-depth knowledge of the following areas:

  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Skilled trainer and tester
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
  • Experience to roles and change in an SAP landscape
  • Logistics and/or warehousing experience within the Automotive industry, preferably low volume niche vehicle production, but non-automotive experience also considered for right candidate
