Heritage Build Technician

About the Role:

You'll be joining our highly talented Build & Test team in a role that will see you take on all mechanical and operational activities relating to our heritage race cars.

In this role, you'll be getting up close and hands on with our historic F1 cars. You'll be responsible for the build, preparation and operation of heritage F1 cars, car sub assemblies and car support equipment. You'll also be building and maintaining the show car collection.

There will also be opportunities to support current F1 and IndyCar activities, both in the UK and abroad, so you'll also need to be available to travel on occasion.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Ideally, you've experience working on contemporary or recently archived Formula One racing cars. F1, F2, F3 or other motorsports series experience is also an advantage. Either way, you've been experience in a highly technical engineering function.

You are able to interpret engineering specifications and drawings, to coordinate race car rebuild tasks and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
