Heritage & Promotional Events Parts Coordinator (Fixed Term)

We're looking for an Events Parts Coordinator to join us for a 2-year fixed term period to support the Heritage & Promotional Events Manager with the accurate stock control of Heritage parts, updating and operation of the latest McLaren Racing stock control operating systems, remade/recreated parts transacting, and the usage recording via MILES type lifing system.

You'll be joining the Heritage Team in our HQ in Woking, UK, although there may be occasional travel to Heritage events or Demonstration, both in the UK and overseas.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing the Heritage archive stock
  • Managing, controlling and expediting the stock of remade/recreated parts
  • Liaising with McLaren Applied and other external suppliers for parts servicing
  • Managing lifing of McLaren Racing owned and customer cars
  • Applying and maintaining standard McLaren Racing stock control operating systems to the Heritage function
  • Managing shortages and reorder points with Project Management
  • Ensuring department adherence to process and procedures and alignment to business needs

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience using Javelin stock control system
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with conflicting priorities
  • Extensive knowledge of current race car components and assemblies
  • Has participated in a team oriented environment
  • Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Javelin & MILES
