Graduate Software Engineer

Location: Woking, GB

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract

Contract Duration: 3 years

Ours is a story of ingenuity and relentless technical development. Of grit, and heroism, and human endeavour. Of knowing and believing that we’re only at our best when we’re at our bravest. Of moving fearlessly forward. Always.

So, we’re taking the pursuit of better seriously. We have huge plans for our future. We’re making incredible things happen.

Right now, we’re looking for a Graduate Software Engineer to push us further than ever, faster than ever on a 3-year programme. To help us take our bespoke software applications to the next level. To tackle F1 racing’s biggest challenges with humility. To make the most of our open culture. To own the next chapter in our story.

You'll need an obvious passion for coding and a significant interest in new technologies. The role will be involved in all stages of the development life cycle from initial analysis to deployment, so you'll need to be able to elicit requirements and see them through to delivery using lean agile techniques.

Your Computer Science degree (or equivalent) means you've got a great foundation, and as a graduate in our team, you will have the opportunity to rotate through each of our software teams over a 3-year period, covering tools in areas such as race strategy, simulation, aerodynamics, and DevOps. You’ll be supported and mentored where required by experienced members of the team, but also empowered to make decisions and add real value to our performance.

You'll need a high proficiency with at least one backend language (ideally C#/.NET or Python), and experience with front end technologies, such as, JavaScript, TypeScript, React or CSS. If you've got experience with microservice based architectures and Docker on Linux, that's definitely a plus!

The SOLID principles are ingrained in you, and you don’t shy away from a challenge. You love solving problems and you know what good software architecture looks like and why it's so important.

You want to learn and grow, and you want to share your knowledge with others. After all, that’s what a high performing team is built upon. You know how to engineer quality software and appreciate the benefits of automated tests and peer review.

If this sounds like the perfect opportunity to kick start your Software career, apply now!
