Graduate Design Engineer - Engine Systems and Cooling

You will be working as part of the Engine Systems Design Group and be actively involved in the engineering design and car integration of the F1 race car's cooling systems, including drawings, rig testing and calculations. You will also have the opportunity to work on other engine systems, such as, hydraulics and fuel, supporting key projects for car performance and reliability.

You'll be building strong relationships with other technical groups and suppliers to help spec. and design test equipment, so you'll need to be a great communicator. Being an excellent data analyst is important as you make recommendations for improvements following rig testing, and subsequently report your results in an effective way.

You've just finished your Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical degree (or similar) and are looking for a challenging, fast-paced environment to kickstart your career. You've already got a great foundation, and as a graduate in our team, you will be supported and mentored by experienced members of the team, but also empowered to make decisions and add real value to our performance.

You'll need a high proficiency with CATIA v5, 3DCOM or 3DExp, and great knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid systems and heat transfer.
