Graduate Composite Design Engineer

Location: Woking, GB

Job Type: Permanent

Contract Duration: Permanent

We’re looking for a Graduate Composite Design Engineer to push us further than ever, faster than ever. To tackle F1 racing’s biggest challenges with humility. To make the most of our open culture. To own the next chapter in our story.

You'll be responsible for conceptual and detail design of composite and metallic F1 race car parts, including any manufacturing tooling required. The components in this area of car include chassis, bodywork, wings and all crash structures.

You'll also be getting involved in conceptual and detail design of jig parts and test jigs, as well as assisting the design work related to suspension, bodywork and transmission components.

You've just finished your Mechanical Engineering degree (or similar) and are looking for a challenging, fast-paced environment to kickstart your career. You've already got a great foundation, and as a graduate in our team, you will be supported and mentored by experienced members of the team, but also empowered to make decisions and add real value to our performance.

You'll need a high proficiency with CATIA v5, 3DCOM or 3DExp, and great knowledge of both racing car components and systems. Your understanding of composite and metallic materials and manufacturing techniques is also second to none!

You don’t shy away from a challenge. You love solving problems and you know why it's so important to get the basics right. You want to learn and grow, and you want to share your knowledge with others. After all, that’s what a high performing team is built upon.

Apply now!

Please note, this opportunity is to start as soon as possible, so you will need to have completed your studies.
