To ensure McLaren Automotive continues to be at the forefront of the Automotive market, we are looking for a Global Digital & CRM Manager to join our Brand marketing team.

 

Purpose of the role:

As Global Digital & CRM Manager you will be responsible for creating, managing and implementing world class brand building initiatives that drive customer acquisition, loyalty and retention.

 

You will manage a team of six, responsible for the digital transformation strategy, digital platforms, media, CRM systems, loyalty programmes, and campaign management. The primary purpose of this role is to align the above into an end to end customer / prospect customer journey plan that grows both customer acquisition and retention.

 

Principal accountabilities:

  • Plan and lead the execution of digital business solutions working closely with a functional team
  • Identification of future digital marketing trends, business models and media consumption to enable commercial advantage
  • Ownership of the tools and technologies required to improve conversion performance online and in Retailers
  • Optimisation of digital response channel performance (PPC, display, social, SEO, affiliates)
  • Data and insight driven, with an ability to analyse data from multiple sources, including the McLaren Database, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, PPC
  • Collaboration on launch and sustainment creative to ensure that the customer journey is optimised and represented appropriately in all customer facing channels
  • Compare and measure the effectiveness of CRM systems so that McLaren automotive is embracing the best technology
  • Creation and development of communication programmes, measurement of effectiveness, and the ability to initiate change through a mindset of continual improvement
  • Utilisation of consumer research projects ensuring that McLaren Automotive understands its customers, the marketplace, and future trends of behaviour and attitude
  • Liaise with other McLaren stakeholders to ensure that CRM and Insight plans are fully integrated into the wider communication mix
  • Work with the regional teams to ensure that the communication programmes fully support local needs
  • Setting and delivering the third party supplier and agency model to ensure that external resources are aligned to meeting commercial objectives
  • Successfully manage departmental budget helping to develop a metric driven culture within the team

 

Knowledge, skills & experience:

  • Extensive experience in Digital marketing, performance marketing
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms including .com, configurators, App
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven track record in CRM strategy and operations including CRM platforms
  • Understands Data Protection legislation with the responsibility of ensuring that McLaren fully adheres to global / local laws
  • Proven leadership skills when managing Digital and CRM resources
