Purpose of the Role:

To lead the bids and quoting for the company, providing an efficient and effective quoting function and comprehensive bid support and business case models for new opportunities.

 

The role will provide insightfull analysis  to help the executive team understand the business dynamics and make decisions to improve profit and cashflow and win profitable business.

 

 

Role Dimensions:

 

Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will focus on developing a robust and High Performing quoting team, and providing comprehensive business cases to support bids.

You will manage two members of the quote team. 

 

Principal Accountabilities:

The principal accountabilities for the role are:

 

  • To ensure the smooth day to day running of the Quoting function.
  • Define and track suitable KPI for the Quoting team
  • Build and manage a suite of business case models and supporting guidance to support bids
  • Partner with the bid teams to provide proactive support to improve profit and cash flows

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

 

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a commercial outlook
  • Management Experience
  • Robust experience of financial accounting and management reporting procedures and routines
  • Resilient and confident individual with consummate influencing and persuasion skills.
  • Presentable and personable – the candidate must be immediately credible with stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
