Purpose of the Role:

  • Reporting to the Head of Finance – Engineering and Operations, this role will be responsible for administering our forecast programme spend, which will be used to track and report the financial position of all our future vehicle development programmes.  This role entails detailed, accurate input to forecast documents but also offers end to end visibility of all our £multi-million programmes, playing a crucial role in ensuring McLaren’s financial objectives are met, through efficient management of financial resources and collaboration with programme directors plus other finance team members.

  • Dotted line responsibility to the Vehicle Line and programme directors

     

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Responsibility for accurate input to programme forecast files for all development programme investment budgets, headcount planning and Bill of Material cost management. Control and maintain live register of risks and opportunities
  • Delivery of regular accurate reporting to support programme commercial reviews
  • Stimulate and deliver process and efficiency improvements
  • Delivery of monthly internal forecasts and quarterly forecasts for input into the wider business forecast

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Must have strong attention to detail, be tenacious and able to work accurately under pressure
  • Confident communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Early stage studier or recent graduate
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach to work, including but not limited to, identifying areas for process improvements and implementing robust solutions.
