  • Working in one of our design teams, for example, designing components that make it on to the car, or that form a key part of an important system on the car, like the gearbox.
  • Working in aerodynamics and analysing wind-tunnel or CFD results, assisting in conceptual design of parts and testing of said parts.
  • Working in vehicle performance, with our simulator team to operate the simulator and help our drivers prepare for upcoming races, or to analyse possible changes to the car.
  • Working race operations, for example, this may include weekend support from our Mission Control room and supporting is live in our activities at track from Woking.

Personal Attributes

The following attributes are required for this role:

  • Proactivity and an aptitude for picking up skills and methods quickly.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and with time constraints (with support provided to ensure this works well).
  • An intelligent, data-driven approach to solving new and challenging problems, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to learn and develop skills on the job, as well as to apply existing skills to new types of problems.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Studying towards or achieved a numerate degree (minimum 2:1) or equivalent qualification
    • Preferably engineering, mathematics or the sciences
  • A practical mindedness and a passion for motorsport.

Closing date for applications: 22nd February 2019
