Electro-Mechanical Assembly Team Leader

As the Electro-Mechanical Team Lead you will be given the responsibility of a team of Assembly Technicians building complex high value alternator products used in motorsport and high-end automotive products where quality and reliability are paramount.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Joining the business at a crucial time during the implementation of our new Manufacturing Execution System you will help ensure the roll out is smooth and it is being utilised fully by the team. 
  • You will help set the team goals, objectives and development plans in order to strengthen our internal knowledge and ability. 
  • You will work closely with the design team to ensure DFM (Design for Manufacture), DFA (Design for Assembly), DFT (Design for Test) inputs on New Product Introduction.
  • Supporting with continuous improvement initiatives as well as contributing to FMEA. 
  • You will be involved in pre and post production build reviews ensuring our quality standards are consistently met. 
  • You will also have the usual team lead duties such as resource planning, QMS compliance (ISO9001 and ISO13485) and documentation management. 


Where will you have experience?

  • You would have already worked in low volume high value manufacture, so you will understand the importance of right first time and high quality standards.
  • Quality and regulatory standards won’t phase you as you already have experience working to stringent regulations. 
  • Already having led a team you will be able to set clear objectives, targets and manage the performance of your team members whilst empowering them to develop further. 
  • You will be used to managing workloads of the team ensuring their time is utilised as efficiently as possible.
