As a result of our continued growth and investment we are currently seeking for a number of talented DevOps Engineers to join our team either in Woking or London.

The successful applicant will engage with technical leaders in the identification of medium-term business solutions consistent with best practices for cross-functional implementation and continued optimisation. Sets the direction for and steers medium-term enhancements of integrated standards and significant business performance drivers across multiple areas of responsibility. Works to create improvements that take into account the critical, underlying and less apparent relationships between internal businesses, technology and systems platforms. Devises approaches that integrate system components for assigned projects. Conducts risk evaluations and resolves issues regarding significant changes and upgrades.

As a DevOps Engineer you will create innovative solutions using the latest technologies. We need smart engineers who are passionate about technology to join our team and help us provide timely insight into data for our customers:

  • Strong background in Linux/Unix administration
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using Puppet, Chef or an equivalent
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services such as AWS (Cloud Formation) and Cloud Orchestration
  • Strong experience with SQL, MySQL and NoSQL
  • A working understanding of coding and scripting using Python, Ruby/Perl
  • A working understanding of Azure, Team City, would be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of Agile

You:

  • Have knowledge of a configuration management tools;
  • Have experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS);
  • Have a First-class degree or upper 2nd in Computer Science or practical commercial experience;
  • Are able to engage with a broad range of stakeholders and work within a matrix organisation.
