Purpose of the Role:

Working within the Total Quality Management (TQM) team where you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating all activities associated with the Conformity of Production (COP) requirements, and the execution of the COP plan.
  • ELV/RRR compliance
  • Complaince to Quality Management System requirements and IATF 16949 standard

This requires a level of coordination amongst the stakeholdes in the processes and consistent  and effective communication.


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Liaise with the Certification department in planning the activities required for COP
  • Define and execute the COP test plan for each production model
  • Work with other related departments in the timely execution of the COP Plan
  • Liaise with external laboratories to ensure COP tests are planned accordingly and executed on time
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure internal tests and checks are conducted according to the COP plan
  • Manage and internally coordinate all COP related audits conducted by Certification Authorities
  • Proactively assess existing COP processes for continuous improvement
  • Support the Compliance aspect of the department with regards to End of Life Vehicle (ELV) and Reuse Recycle Recover (RRR) legislative requirement by:
    • Conducting regular ELV / RRR compliance assessments and coordinate follow-up activities to ensure all products remain compliant in series production.
  • Support the Compliance aspect of the department with regards to Quality Management System (QMS) requirement by:
    • Member of the internal auditig team
    • Support all activities leading to the company certification to the IATF 16949 automotive standard


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in automotive industry is essential
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements applicable to passenger cars including conformity of production procedures
  • Previous experience in Quality Management Systems and processes, including End Off Line inspection and suppliers audit
  • Previous experience in executing and managing audits conducted by relevant approval authorities
  • Project management skills are desirable
  • Mechanical or Automotive Engineering Degree 2:1 or above is desirable
