Change Control Coordinator

Purpose of the role:
Working within the Product Change Management team to coordinate all activities and stakeholders to ensure adequate review and implementation of Build Deviation Requests raised within the business. The main purpose of this role is coordination, facilitation, implementation and administration of all BDR affecting series production vehicles, to be a Go-to person to provide guidance and training for the BDR system and process.
Principal Accountabilities:

  • Assess all newly raised BDR’s for adequacy and relevance
  • Communicate with originators to resolve incorrectly raised BDR’s
  • Confirm the selected approval workflow and assess the information populated in the BDR’s for accuracy
  • Ensure BDR approvals are completed in timely manner
  • Implement all approved BDR’s to the specified production orders
  • Ensure BDR’s are correctly implemented in the Production Line-side system
  • Facilitate to ensure the BDR process is consistently followed by all stakeholders in the business
  • Coordinate all BDR related activities in the business for effective implementation of deviation to series vehicles
  • Coordinate BDR workload within the team
  • Ensure BDR related data integrity and accuracy in the SAP system
  • Define suitable reporting KPI’s and Generate progress status (daily/weekly) reports
  • Ensure continuous improvement of the BDR system, process and reporting
  • Consultant to the business by providing BDR system and process guidance and training (conduct show & tell sessions)
  • Maintain BDR related documentation in line with the QMS requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Computer skills are critical (MS Office)
  • Data analytics
  • Previous SAP experience is beneficial
  • Previous experience in automotive industry is beneficial (product knowledge)
  • A relevant degree - 2:1 or above
