Purpose of the Role:

 

To design, manage and implement an integrated multi-channel marketing campaign for two product lines. Working with across sales and marketing functions (product, PR, CRM, digital and sales operations) to define the product proposition, develop a creative campaign and leverage across multiple customer and PR touch points to meet the commercial objectives of the company.    

 

 

Principal Accountabilities:

 

  • Develop and implement the launch and lifecycle marketing plan for two product (vehicle) lines, working across marketing and communications functions to devise, schedule and track cross channel activities including reporting on KPIs   
  • Working with Product and CRM teams to lead the development of the product proposition and the creative campaign
  • Working with the Product function to report Brand and Marketing status into the wider vehicle development programme management and provide Executive updates 
  • Communicate and champion the brand positioning and creative concept throughout the central and region marketing teams to deliver an integrated campaign
  • Develop, implement and interpret brand tracking
  • Design, cost and measure effectiveness of brand awareness campaigns, including product placement and ambassador programmes
  • Contribute to, implement and represent the guardian of the master brand positioning to ensure consistency and quality through internal, external and retailer communications
  • Lead and manage brand and creative agency input, providing clear feedback to ensure objectives are met without stifling creativity  
  • Responsible for coordinating cross function asset requirements (photography and film) and where appropriate commissioning brand productions
  • Responsible for brand budget for two product lines including tracking financial effectiveness of campaigns through regular reporting including ROI
  • Management and Development of the Assistant Brand Manager

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified or equivalent, CIM qualification preferred
  • Previous experience in a brand or product marketing function is essential
  • Senior brand communications strategy development
  • Previous Automotive experience would be extremely beneficial
  • People management experience required
  • Strong appreciation of brand and its impact on content creation and messaging
  • Previous  below the line campaign experience
  • Agency management essential
