Black Belts: McLaren is your dojo

We’re new to Six Sigma methodologies, which is where you come in. You can define, implement, and champion Six Sigma across McLaren Automotive’s production and manufacturing teams. Picking up complex and often long-standing production issues such as door set and alignment, you’ll be tasked with coaching and leading problem-solving teams internally and with suppliers.

This isn’t your ordinary Six Sigma job, as we’re new to this methodology. As a certified Black Belt, with proven experience managing Black Belt projects, we need you to drive this way of working across the business, and when you’re successful, you could be growing this team to take on Green Belts, and even develop yourself to the next level, something which we could support you with.

Having just implemented our Practical Problem Solving (PPS) methodology this year, we need you to implement Six Sigma to compliment this and address issues that are too layered and complex for PPS to effectively address. You don’t need to have worked in an automotive background, but experience in a similar manufacturing or production environment will stand you in good stead.

We’ll support your innovative ideas, which should help, but it’s always a challenge to change ways of working and win people over with change. If you’re up to this challenge, apply now or send a CV to [email protected].
