Marketing Specialist - Aftersales

As part of our Track25 business plan we will launch 18 new models or derivatives of our vehicles and look to expand our retailer network into new markets with an aim of having 100 retailers globally.  

Track 25 and McLaren Automotive’ s growing reputation is testament to our world class employees. To ensure McLaren Automotive continues to be at the forefront of the Automotive market, we are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our Aftersales Marketing team.

Purpose of the role:

The Aftersales Marketing Specialist will be responsible for communicating new and existing Aftersales services and programmes to a global audience encompassing customers, retailers, regional colleagues, and internal teams. The Aftersales Marketing Specialist will work with the Customer Programmes Team and with the wider Sales and Marketing department to ensure all Aftersales marketing collateral and communications are developed in full harmony with wider strategic customer communication plans.  

Principal accountabilities:

  • To assist in the creation of a wide range of Aftersales marketing collateral ensuring it is fully in keeping with brand guidelines and that cultural variances are taken in to consideration
  • Ownership of the relevant areas on the McLaren Marketing Suite, ensuring retailers have access to up to date imagery and assets
  • Responsible for the reporting process, measuring the effectiveness of Aftersales marketing activity and identifying areas of opportunity and growth
  • To build and maintain the annual Aftersales marketing and communication calendar ensuring full integration with the wider department and the McLaren Automotive marketing calendar
  • To assist in the management of marketing agencies, ensuring delivery of high quality marketing materials which are delivered on time and within budget
  • To identify and share examples of global best practice in customer experience and Aftersales marketing
  • To deliver the Aftersales communication strategy, including weekly team updates, regional manager communications and retailer bulletins
  • Assist in the management of the Aftersales Marketing budget through raising POs and invoice processing
  • To assist the Aftersales Marketing Manager where required to deliver initiatives and programmes which enhance the department and business profitability

Knowledge, skills & experience:

  • Educated to Degree level in either Business, Marketing or Communications or experience in a marketing-based role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Well organised, demonstrating a methodical approach and meticulous attention to detail
  • An understanding of the luxury (HNW) market and sensitivity to customer needs
