Aftersales Inventory Specialist

Track 25 and McLaren Automotive’ s growing reputation is testament to our world class employees. To ensure McLaren Automotive continues to be at the forefront of the Automotive market, we are looking for a Inventory Specialist to join our Aftersales team.

Purpose of the role:

As an Inventory Specialist you will ensure the Parts Operations inventory is controlled and visible to all key stakeholders. You will support all internal customer parts supply chain relationships to achieve the most effective supply outcomes for Aftersales and the Internal Customer.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Inventory Control – this includes planning, reporting, analysis, and corrective action where necessary.
  • Review and present any proposals around inventory return from Retailers or one-off purchases from slow moving sources and internal customers.
  • Project work around inventory impacting activity including supporting the Operational and Commercial team on one off forecast and calculations to form part of Last Time or Life Time buys.
  • Engaging with all Internal Customers such as Motorsport, Merchandise, MSO to ensure their Parts needs are supported with optimised solutions
  •  Support the Senior Operations & Compliance Specialist and Operations Parts Team in various development

Knowledge, skills & experience:

  • Strong Inventory Control and Operational experience
  • Detailed knowledge of financial reporting and operational impact of standard logistic and inventory processes, valuation and asset management etc
  • Degree or Diploma education preferable
  • IT skills, advanced MS Office skills is essential (Excel, Word and Power-point)
  • Able to engage with and influence stakeholders
