Track 25 and McLaren Automotive’ s growing reputation is testament to our world class employees. To ensure McLaren Automotive continues to be at the forefront of the Automotive market, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our Finance team.

Purpose of the role:

As Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will oversee a team of 4 Accounts Payable Clerks. Your team will be responsible for facilitating supplier payments in line with payment runs and drive continuous improvements in the system.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Guiding and directing the focus of the team in terms of suppliers on a weekly basis
  • Ensure vendor recs are proactively managed monthly
  • Reporting to team on their performance and identifying areas for improvement
  • Managing vendor master data and ensuring tight controls are maintained to avoid duplication, fraud etc.
  • Reporting to business on invoice queries and influencing prompt resolution
  • Point of escalation from internal/external customers
  • Purchase order non conformance monitoring
  • Month end reconciliations

Knowledge, skills & experience:

  • AAT Qualified/Part Qualified (Qualified by experience will be considered)
  • SAP experience is not essential but is advantageous 
  • Previous Management experience
  • System migration experience preferable
  • Project experience preferable
  • Knowledge of Intercompany accounts
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Attention to detail
