Sales Planning Manager, China (12 months FTC)

Location: Singapore, SG

As part of our Track25 business plan we will launch 18 new models or derivatives of our vehicles and look to expand our retailer network into new markets with an aim of having 100 retailers globally.  
Track 25 and McLaren Automotive’ s growing reputation is testament to our world class employees. To ensure McLaren Automotive continues to be at the forefront of the Automotive market, we are looking for a Sales Planning Analyst to join our Singapore team on a 12 months FTC.
Principal accountabilities:

  • Support regional business planning forecasts and volume studies to inform the annual budgeting process
  • Support negotiation and delivery of annual volume targets to regional managers and retailer network
  • Lead the regular analysis, tracking and reporting on McLaren China's performance against key KPIs across the region  
  • Work with regional managers to understand demand forecast to identify key risks and opportunities in forecast
  • Optimize supply of cars across retailer network based on understanding of demand forecasts and individual market situations
  • Regional and Central Reporting
  • Coordinate regional forecasts and communication back to Global Commercial Sales and Operations team based in England
  • Manage quarterly assessment of retailer network across sales, marketing and finance business functions
  • Lead issuance of regional and dealer performance scorecards and monthly reports
  • Spearhead preparation for quarterly Asia Pacific board presentations and organization of yearly regional conferences
  • Track segment and competitor trends across current & future markets
  • Monitor competitor registration data and McLaren Market Share 

Knowledge, skills & experience:

  • Candidate must hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or any equivalent discipline
  • Has a strong affinity with numbers and a keen eye for detail
  • Fluent written and spoken English. Preferably speaks Mandarin 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel – Pivot Tables, etc.)
