An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven individual to join our team as an Administrator within our Composites Technology Centre in Sheffield (UK).

Principal accountabilities:

  • Greeting guests on arrival
  • Guest induction
  • Room booking support
  • Coordination of hospitality for hosted events
  • Maintaining reception area standards
  • Maintaining meeting room standards
  • Ensuring reception area refreshments are replenished
  • Receiving incoming e-mails / calls and directing to appropriate people
  • New members induction and Uniform distribution
  • Support Directors and Office Coordinator as required
  • Preparing monthly staff communication pack
  • Stationery orders and distribution
  • Logging of stationery and merchandise, coordination of business cards, headed stationery and year planners
  • General Office Administration including control of ingoing/outgoing post, filing, archiving and shredding
  • DHL shipments

Knowledge, skills & experience:


  • Experience in an administrative function, ideally within a small office environment
  • A strong working knowledge of MS Office products – especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to ad hoc tasks
  • Ability to prioritise and organise project related tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Calm and professional under pressure
