Vice President of Sales - North America

As part of our Track25 business plan we will launch 18 new models or derivatives of our vehicles and look to expand our retailer network into new markets with an aim of having 100 retailers globally.  

Track 25 and McLaren Automotive’ s growing reputation is testament to our world class employees. To ensure McLaren Automotive continues to be at the forefront of the Automotive market, we are looking for a Vice President of Sales to join our North America team.

Purpose of the role:

As VP of Sales, you will be responsible for the successful achievement of the new car sales volume objectives – allocation, wholesale, retail and manage stock levels across all models.

You will also be responsible for managing a high performing team of Regional Sales Managers (RSM’s) based across the region who are responsible for ensuring North America remains McLaren Automotive’ s most successful region.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Work with the sales team and President of North America to set annual volume objectives for the dealership network. Work to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual objectives
  • Lead, manage, motivate and develop the RSM’s to ensure that objectives and priorities are met in an efficient manner and ensure that the team is operating at its full potential
  • Develop, steer and implement sales initiatives and bonus programmes for the region to ensure the sales targets are achieved. Ensure the sales programs are suitable for the relevant territories and markets
  • Monitor the development of revenue, cost and profit. Initiate actions wherever possible or necessary to improve the profitability of the region and dealer network in both the short and long term
  • Ensure all NA dealerships conform to the Dealer Operating standards such as demonstrator policy, showroom standards and sales staffing levels.
  • Co-ordinate long and short term volume planning for the NA region with particular focus on current year and following year
  • Work cross functionally within the Marketing, Aftersales and PR departments to ensure alignment of business priorities
  • Responsible for achievement of the used car sales volume targets – retail and stock levels
  • Management, co-ordination and communication of finance and insurance offerings through McLaren Financial Services
