Senior Simulation Control Engineer

Location: London, GB

Do you want to see your algorithms working in a range of autonomous vehicles or Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems that are improving the safety of vehicles of the future? With advanced safety features being imperative to the next generation of vehicles, you will get to help solve the real-world problems the industry is facing.

The work we are doing is often in an embedded environment so naturally you will know about real-time embedded software and be able to utilise MATLAB or Simulink to aid the development of our solutions.

Don’t worry if you don’t know it all, but experience in a number of the below area’s would make your day to day work that little bit easier. You will however have a thirst for knowledge and want to advance your skills by continuing to learn and we will provide the support you need to do that.

State estimation/Kalman filtering/sensor fusion or model predictive control

Vehicle dynamics

Digital Signal Processing

IMU Processing

Online Sensor CalibrationControl theory fundamentals 

These are just some of the other things we like, you don’t have too though.

VHDL experience

Computer vision or LiDAR processing

Python or C++ experience

Experience working on ADAS or autonomous vehicle control systems

Interest in reinforcement learning

Some experience working to ISO26262


As a part of our Modelling and Decision Sciences function, you will build the modelling components that underpin our data-driven products and solutions from research and design, prototype and validation, through to deployment. You will work as part of cross-disciplinary teams alongside software engineers, systems engineers, and designers.
