An exciting opportunity has opened to join our highly successful software development team as a Senior Control Systems Engineer within our Idiada office in Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of embedded control algorithms, diagnostics and calibration for whole vehicle, performance related control systems. The role brings unparalleled levels of responsibility, ownership and direct involvement with our world leading products.

Principal Accountabilities:
Model-based, auto-coded software prototyping and production implementation
Support vehicle software testing and calibration
Support production ramp up and series development
Functional Safety work product tracking and external supplier management.
Development and Series concerns support
Essential Skills and Experience:
Diagnostic protocol implementation
Reliability analysis (FMEA, FTA).
Software requirements capture and detailed software design
Model-based control software development and verification
AUTOSAR software components generation and integration
Verification testing in MIL, SIL and HIL environments, and in-vehicle integration
Compliance to industry standards such as ISO26262 and ASPICE.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Fault tolerant system design and development.
Statistical analysis
Predictive maintenance.
Condition monitoring.
Automotive HEV or BEV experience
Vehicle dynamics expertise
Automotive Transmissions
Vehicle-based software calibration
