Purpose of the Role:

Responsible for assembly of complex high value stators & alternator products in small/medium volumes.

The products are mainly used in motorsport and high-end automotive applications where the highest quality and reliability standards are paramount.

Role Dimensions:

Experienced electro-mechanical build technician required within our Stators & Alternator manufacturing department. Working as part of a small team of technicians, building and testing assemblies before despatching to customers. Role will require overtime during peak periods or as projects demand.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Achieve objectives working to production plan.
  • Following instructions and processes to ensure products are delivered effectively, efficiently, on-time, to specification and in a cost-effective manner.
  • Follows production procedures, processes and technical documentation.
  • Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.
  • Maintains manufacturing documentation to achieve full standards of traceability.
  • Fully contributes to the process of continuous improvements and company goal of achieving zero defects in accordance with ISO9001 certified quality management systems requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven track record working in the low volume manufacturing environment, ideally electro-mechanical.
  • Good PC skills.
  • Good time management.
  • Good attention to detail to maintain or exceed high levels of production standards and efficiency.
  • Ability to fully contribute to the process of continuous improvements.
  • Good understanding of working in similar electro-mechanical environment.
  • Ability to work to both written and verbal instructions.
  • Able to work under pressure to ensure products meet our customer delivery dates
