Working at McLaren

'A unique and inspiring environment'

Our aim was to provide our people with an exceptional environment in which to work.

When constructing the McLaren Technology Centre we created something definitive and worthy of the McLaren name. A low rise, state of the art, ecologically advanced home base, tucked into 50 hectares of parkland in Woking, Surrey, as well as our McLaren Production Centre, which sets the benchmarks for manufacturing facilities.

The buildings are examples of architecture working in harmony with both the people who work here and the surrounding environment. Our people are inspired by this unique workplace, including the excellent restaurant and fitness facilities. The sophisticated technology used in the building is helping us to reduce our carbon footprint and reduce energy consumption. It also supports a complex ecosystem and sustains a wide variety of plant, bird and animal life.

"We all want our company to win, and I'm not just talking about winning grands prix. To win we need highly motivated and dedicated people and such people can only thrive if you provide them with an environment in which they can aspire to be the best. Great facilities attract great people and that's where the story of the McLaren Technology Centre has its roots." Ron Dennis, Chairman and CEO.
